1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of Mood Logger (moodlogger.online), which is provided by Manuel Gonçalves, an individual based in Portugal ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy policy.

2. Who can use Mood Logger

You must be at least 16 years old. You need to give a real email address that you control, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. Each account is for one person.

3. The service

Mood Logger lets you plan your days, organise tasks and objectives, keep habits and log your mood. It's currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll explain the price and what's included before you're asked to pay, and you'll always be able to export your data.

We're improving the app all the time, so features may change. If we ever close the service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your data.

4. Not medical advice

Mood Logger is not a medical device and doesn't provide medical, psychological or therapeutic advice. Mood statistics and insights are for personal reflection only. They may be incomplete or wrong, and they're no substitute for a qualified professional.

If you're in crisis or might harm yourself, call the emergency number 112 straight away. In Portugal you can also call SNS 24 on 808 24 24 24.

5. Your content

Everything you add (moods, notes, tasks, objectives, habits) remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy policy. You can export or delete it at any time.

You're responsible for what you add. Please don't include other people's sensitive personal information.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't:

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page; this deletes all your data. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Unless there's a legal or security reason not to, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

8. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Mood Logger running and your data safe, but we can't promise the service will always be available or free of errors. We recommend downloading your data from time to time.

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on the app's statistics and insights. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence, or affects your rights as a consumer under Portuguese and EU law.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected]; we'll do our best to sort it out.
